The National Examination Board is preparing to release the results for Class 12 on Friday. According to a board member, a meeting has been scheduled for 10 a.m. today to decide on the publication of the results. The results will only be announced after the board meeting, which will determine whether the results will be released today.
The board is ready to publish the results today, provided there are no technical errors or other issues.
A total of 491,497 students participated in the Class 12 exams, which began on Baisakh 14. Out of these, 390,000 were candidates. The exams were conducted across 1,526 centers, including 77 districts and one in Japan. For the first time, the Kathmandu district utilized an automated process to allocate examination centers for the tests.
In total, 5,542 schools had students participating in the Class 12 exams. The results will be published according to the Letter Grading System 2078, similar to the SEE results released last Ashad. The board has indicated that students must achieve at least 35% in each subject to pass, or they will be considered failing
